We are extremely proud to invite everyone to the ninth edition of the Speccy.pl Party – the event for all followers and admirers of ZX Spectrum, aiming to integrate ZX Spectrum users.
Of course, you do not need to own ZX Spectrum or ZX Spectrum Next to visit Speccy.pl Party - just a bit of will is enough!

Terms and conditions of competition
- Each piece of work should be authorial. It is permitted to use other author's materials from different resources or from Internet but it should be explicitly detailed in references/credits.
- It is not allowed to introduce any work that has already been published or presented in the past.
- No work should include any insulting, offending elements or promote forbidden by law elements or activities.
- Remote work submissions are allowed! In the case of winning prizes we send abroad!
- Every single creation registered for competition will be kept in Archive files of Speccy.pl

Vortex Tracker for creating .pt3 (1xAY and 2xAY)
Furnace - chiptune tracker (1xAY - export to VGM)
psgvgm2tap.zip - converter for files in .psg and .vgm format to executable .tap file. Author: artёmka aka wbcbz7
pt3autorun.zip - scripts for converting .pt3 (1xAY and TurboSound) to .tap. Author: Tygrys
- All files should be previously uploaded to google drive / dropbox or other cloud storage service; then links to that files should be send for: tygrys (at) speccy (dot) pl
- Deadline for all competitors and for works delivering is 4th April 2025 (Friday) by 23:59
Competitions will take place on following compo machines:

ZX Spectrum:
- ZX Spectrum 128K +2 (Gray model)
- DivIDE or DivMMC with esxDOS will be used as mass storage device.
- Turbo Sound with 2xYM in stereo ABC layout will be used to run the compo.

- N-Go with 2MB RAM

- Demo should work on any of computers provided by Organisers.
ZX Spectrum Intro 256b category

Minimal loader in BASIC opening production, like:
10 CLEAR stack: LOAD ""CODE: RANDOMIZE USR address
- Max. total size of binary block: 256 bytes.
- Intro should work on any of computers provided by Organisers.
ZX Spectrum Intro 4KB category

Minimal loader in BASIC opening production, like:
10 CLEAR stack: LOAD ""CODE: RANDOMIZE USR address
- Max. total size of binary block: 4096 bytes.
- Intro should work on any of computers provided by Organisers.
ZX Spectrum AY Music
- One piece of work from one musician in one category is allowed.
- A track should be in executable file and working on ZX Spectrum. The organizers will create .tap file if you provide .pt3 one.
- In case of lack of at least three works provided for one category, the Organisers keep the right to move them to the general competition.
- Track should be played at 50 Hz interrupt frequency (PAL)
- Maximum duration: 3 minutes
- Cover versions will be moved to the Wild category.
ZX Spectrum TurboSound Music
- One piece of work from one musician in one category is allowed.
- A track should be in executable file and working on ZX Spectrum. The organizers will create .tap file if you provide .pt3 one.
- Track should be played at 50 Hz interrupt frequency (PAL)
- Maximum duration: 3 minutes
- In case of lack of at least three works provided for one category, the Organisers keep the right to move them to the general competition.
- Cover versions will be moved to the Wild category.
ZX Spectrum GFX
- There is a limit of maximum two works from one author.

- It is also mandatory to provide at least four phases that describe the process of the creation.
- File conversions will be presented in the Wild category. In case of minimum three works provided in this category, the Organisers will open a separate competition category for them.
ZX Spectrum Next Demo
- Your demo must have work in 50Hz. Other frequencies will cause problems during projection and your demo will look bad.
- Allowed formats: .nex, .tap, .dot
- Intro should work on Organisers computer.
Wild
- Any work that cannot be qualified to one of categories specified above
- The work will be presented basing on multimedia files provided by author (.avi, .mp4 etc.)
